The “Georgia Youngblood Student Scholarship” was established in 2024 in partnership with Nazareth University to provide financial assistance to a deserving graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student.

The “Dr. Sibert Douglas Student Excellence Scholarship” was established in 2020 in partnership with Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Gamma Iota Boulé to provide financial assistance to help defray costs of attending a college or university to a student with outstanding achievements in Education, Community Service, Sports, or Arts & Culture.

The “Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Dr. Charles T. Lunsford Student Scholarship” was established in 2017 in partnership with the Gamma Iota Boulé Foundation to increase representation of African descent individuals in professional careers in the health sciences.

Appropriately, the Gamma Iota Boule Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award is named in
honor of Dr. Freddie L. Thomas. Dr. Thomas was a scholar, scientist, poet, musician, inventor,
orator, author and a historian particularly in the areas of African American and Jewish Cultural
History.
